everyone needs to watch this.
holy shit. a few things could’ve been added to really make this go ‘whoaholyfuck’, but the thing with hate, you don’t even need to have the most poignant, powerhouse video to make every stop and stare. i was most appalled by the comments - i’ve seen them responded to a million times, one at a time. and even though this was only a mere handful of them, it was sickening seeing them all piled up and collected; it made me nauseous.

this is quick and it’s a good idea to watch this. This lovely, fun, outgoing girl that everyone liked in high school was bullied by just a couple people online and it led her to hang herself in her family’s garage (and she was close to her family). It’s been really shocking and horrible for her friends, and I can only imagine how much absolute sorrow and anger her family feels. if someone as well-liked with so many friends and as close a family as this girl was pushed to kill herself by a couple people, think of how much more easily someone without that support might commit suicide.

Also, guys, TURN OFF FREAKING ANON. I understand having it on for purposes of non-tumblr people contacting you if they want their photo taken down, but if you feel so strongly about that just provide an email address instead. Sure, someone could anonymously use that, but I doubt the majority will go out of their way to do so. Turn your anonymous option off, for your own sanity and self-esteem! Obviously you shouldn’t have to turn it off, it’s the anons who should monitor themselves, but as we KNOW that’s never going to happen 100%, just turn it off!

It’s okay not to know every little thing about yourself that bothers other people… we are ALL annoying or unlikeable at some point, in some way, to others, especially on Tumblr, where an opinion is a dangerous thing to have.
